| Leaving Fev at the end of the season. Possibilities of him being our new Assistant Coach?

I don't know.
Does our esteemed current head coach like him?
That seemed to be the reason for Lowes getting the job.

Are you suggesting that the head coach should appoint assistants who he doesn't like?
I reckon that would be a pretty key criterion.

| Heard the post was being held open for JP, thing is JP looks like he'll play until he's 86.

Only guessing but wouldn't Cas be a likely destination?

| Unless someone comes along and offers him a head coach job somewhere, I'd expect him to join Powell at Cas.
Just need to get Andy Hay back on the staff and they are slowly reuniting the Murray era Leeds side.

| I understood he would have come with Powell but that would have meant Orr stepping aside, which Cas were not willing to countenance (understandably).

Liking someone should not be the major selection criterion.
It smacks of croneyism which is never a good basis for progress or success.
I'd rather people were selected for their ability to do the job rather than whether they were mates.
Lowes may have been excellent in his role, but many on here seem to doubt that.

I would think sinfield will end up in that position. I seem to remember reading that when peacock retired he would like to go into the admin management side of things. Fortunately sinfields retirement is some way off, but I would think next season will be peacocks last, still as you comment he could push on even longer. Whatever happens I should imagine both of them will stay with the club.

Many on here don't really know what they're talking about, and I include myself in that. I'm sure he was very good at his job, but a major part of employing someone is their character and whether you think you will get on with and work well with them.
