I don't post on here very often, but read the posts on the forum daily.

I have wanted to give Joe Vickery the chance to prove he can show he is a player that can do a job for us without the expectation of him being a star.

Although we can point many fingers so far this evening of players not playing to their potential and us looking lost in both defence and inept in attack. Surely the fact that when a player has 25m to run back from in goal, you would grit your teeth and take a hit up rather than crab across the line, shows that he is not at Super League standard and although I respect the guy for coming over and giving it a go, our coach should realise that he is not the answer, even when the injuries in the backs are as they are.

I do worry with how we are playing at the minute and we desperately need some quick, attacking half backs.

I hope the second half proves me wrong!

He looked like he went back to his early games for leeds, showing lack of confidence and it showed with him being dominated by the hull defence on several occasions but not the only one to have a poor game by any means, particularly in first half

... It starts!







TBF, I called it after his "impressive" freindley displays. I've defended him over his first grade games because I don't think he's been as bad as has been made out but like I said before week 1, he was never signed as consistent FG player. He is a cover player for a decent winger. I have seen our 20s and still don't believe there's anyone who is head and shoulders above him.

My only thought is I can't wait until BJB is back.

If I was the opposition team playing Leeds at the moment and he's in the side I'd just pepper him with the ball, he's not SL standard and NOT worth a place in the team. He'd struggle to get in the Hunsletbside

Completely disagree how many times have you seen our U19's??
I'm not blaming Vickery for any of the losses and last week i thought he went well tbf but he's done nothing whatsoever that proves Handley/Duckworth or Sunley/Watson could'nt do.
Ok the coach thinks different and that's something we have to accept but to dismiss what's in teh Acadamy as no better is way wide of the mark imo.

We are playing with 12 men on attack it is as clear as day and embarrasing that the other players dare not risk passing to him , and the run across his own line instead of going forward was nothing short of a disgrace
