Greetings League Fans.

I moved over to Seacroft a couple of years back and have noticed that there is no Amateur club in the immediate area, which is a shame really considering the amount of youngsters that I see around wearing Rhinos jerseys.

I'm thinking about starting a club for the local youth in the short term and hopefully establish and develop it as a positive influence and long standing pillar of the community for now and ever into the future.

Obviously it's just an idea at the moment and logistics and finances and all the other little bits and bobs would have to be looked over again and again, but I'd like to know if anybody fancies getting on board?

Anybody with ideas or advice, or just generally wouldnt mind giving something a go that could influence our young people in a positive way then please comment here or get in touch with me. via P.M.

They are mate yeah. Still plenty of room for a club this side of the roundabout though I think.

Id have thought that East Leeds would cover that area? A mate of mine from Seacroft played for them a couple of seasons ago

Still a journey though from Seacroft to East End Park.

Im talking about the area from Gipton approach up to Tesco up York Rd. Sure East Leeds club will be the closest club at the min for Seacroft youngsters. I'd like a club in their own area that they can play for too.

Halton moor(by the school) have an u18s that i know of not sure what other years...harehills pigeons jhave an u16s dont know of any others apart form east leeds.

Plenty of room up that end for another club, plenty of scope/potential for players too. Hope all goes well.

I know they have some sport being played at the David Young sunday mornings, might be worth looking into if that is a goer

That was me. North Leeds Leopards are now 3 yrs old and going from strength to strenth. Entered an U12 team last year who won the Division 5 Yorkshire Junior League and in 2013 will be entering U13 + U11 teams.
