Those shots look great but none of them are in play screen shots. Always worrys me when you do a search for a new game and cant find any in play shots

I'll get it cos I still play the first one - and the addition of a career mode is what it needs!

But that gameplay video makes it seem very similar to the first one, worryingly. And whilst I still play the first one, it's less rugby league more 'know how to win games' by preventing the CPU doing ridiculous off loads, kick 40/20s with your prop forward and kick drop goals from half way.

We'll see.

Great hit at 30 seconds in that vid. The passing looks a little accurate, like you can just cut out any time you fancy, and it'll go straight to your centre/winger. I'll still buy it of course

Having seen the gameplay video I think it looks a lot better than the previous effort. Looks like when you make a break and play a pass it will actually go to a moving player rather than stopping dead. Looks in ways very similar to the jona lomu rugby challenge, The same guys are involved so its possible they've used some of the same code.

Can't find the game on amazon or play.com though, and won't shock me if its released late.

Didn't Tru Blu or whoever did it last time have trouble with distributors over this side of the world? Hence the shocking prices and constant stock issues?

Yeh I think so, i know It was really hard to get hold of. My original copy sold on ebay for 35 quid just a few months back. When the first one came out on ps2 they had massive problems to, the original release date was put back months.

I'll see what the price is before making a decision. Although if its 50 quid or anything like I doubt i'll be touching it. I know its a game that doesn't have a lot of interest over here and they have to cover their expenditure, but if they made a good enough game in the first place i reckon even non league fans would be interested.

I work for a pretty big online retailer and we don't even have a supplier yet. You'll be lucky to get it before November/December over here unless you import it.

UK release date is 26th October!

I have bought every game so far and have been duly disappointed every time. I was not going to buy this one because of how poor its predecessors have been, BUT, after seeing the game play vid the very 1st clip with actual dummy runners has sold me. It doesn't look too bad so ill give it the benefit of the doubt and them my £50... again.

Do what I did for the previous one - look out for the obligatory RFL competition to win a copy.
