| Well, its a sad day for me and I suppose a lot of other people as the realisation that the Supporters Club at Headingley is finally demolished.
For me personally, ive grown up and worked in this place and it holds many dear memories for me, not least where I spent most of my life with my Grandad.
It wasnt just a place to meet up with friends on a match day. It was a 2nd home, a work place, a local, a friendly environment where you could go in at any time of day, be welcomed, have a chat or a game of darts and snooker.
I think If Im honest, Im 29 now, and having being taken in as a baby, to working there and drinking there and playing open age RL for the amateur team, 50% of my life and memories will be from the supporters club.
"we laughed, we cried, we fell in love, we got hurt, we got sad, we got happy. Make new memories in our lives, as we leave the old memories in our hearts."
The Supporters Club - Thanks For The Memories

| A fantastic tribute. I have all the same memories (apart from playing open age RL, that is)
I actually had tears in my eyes when i walked out of it for the last time.

| Lots of memories of the Old Bowling Club. The steward Henry served the best pint of Tetley bitter and mild in leeds and the topping up jug was a bonus.
Learnt to play snooker in there after training on Tuesday and Thursday nights also to gamble on the old sixpenny Tic Tac Toe one-arm bandit with the Indians head.
I wonder what to do with my Leeds Supporters Club Life Members card now the FAE in the southstand car park is no more ????
Lots of memories of 12 years of the Leeds Social ARLFC. God Bless, Cooperman, Wayne and Lester and Margaret.
Shame the Rhinos management couldnt have given the club a better send off.

| I've posted a brief clip of them demolishing the place on the tube of you. It's not exciting, but it will confirm to anyone interested that it really is gone.
Look for 'Demolishing the Supporters' Club '

| Sad day indeed.
We have had many great times in there and always been treated well (and with good humour) by the Leeds fans.
What are they building in it's place?
And where are we going to get a beer next year? I don't fancy standing in the rain under the west cricket stand.
