| Congrats to Hall. Not sure he has looked any better than in seasons gone by but i cant think of a stand out performer really over the season and Hall is as worthy as any.
Decent try return for the scant service he has recieved,Imagine his trys tally at a team with a real attacking structure like Wire or Wigan!
Hardaker is the big success story of the season for us,full back looks secure for a time to come, well deserved award for him.

| It is not as if we had any stand out performers, but personally I think that's a wrong choice. Nothing on Hall, but his achievements (try's scored) are off the work of others. It's not like he has to put in the same industry and work load as other players. So for me, despite the no stand out performers, I would have preferred to have seen someone more central on the field getting it.
I thought Ablett started the season very well, until he was messed about as usual by having to switch around positions because of our poor recruitment. I thought Peacock has finished the season extremely well, and I think Sinfield has been his usual consistency and in reality vital to what we have achieved. Personally though, I think Hardacker has been a real bit of fresh air since his switch to fullback and for me is probably unlucky not to win all the awards.
But well done to Ryan Hall anyway.

| Which players have been more inudstrious?
He's made more metres than any other Rhinos player.
Only Sinfield, Peacock and Burrow have made more carries (remarkable industry for a winger).
He's made more clean breaks.
Only Burrow, Lunt and Sinfield have run more from Dummy half.
He's not just a finisher, he's very industrious.

He isn't just a finisher though, he gets through a ton of work and takes the ball up the middle of the pitch on occasion. Well deserved award IMO

By that rationale wingers should never achieve individual awards.
It's not about workload and industry though. It's about your role and playing your part. Ryan Hall has been a top class winger for years and adds a lot to the team through his role in it. The fact that he doesn't make 30+ tackles and hit ups a match is meaningless.

| Someone has to win the award and I can't think of anyone more deserving this season than Hall so why not.
I've no idea which of his tries was awarded Leeds' try of the season but if it was scored against Widnes I presume the quality of opposition or importance to the result played no part in the decision making process.

| I'd say Hall winning this year is pretty much correct.

I'd be interested to know the rationale for that bit of wisdom too!
Well deserved Hall, very industrious and not just a classy finisher as others
have said.

| Are there any fears about the NRL coming calling, have Leeds got him on a long contract to ward of the Ozzies?

Signed a contract extension with Leeds in January this year. That deal runs to the end of the 2016 season.
If however he wants to go, then he probably should and I doubt Leeds or the RFL would put up much of a fight to keep him here - it's not as if he plays for Wigan or anything.

IMO i get the impression that he's not interested in a move to Australia. If Briscoe is attracting rumours about NRL clubs being interested i can't believe their isn't any NRL teams who haven't taken a look at Hall especially after his efforts against Australia and Manly in the last 12 months, but he might of told his agent that he's not bothered. It may be the superior competion but living aboard especially the other side of the world doesn't always appeal to everyone (his partner has recently had their first child too) and i get the feeling from hearing him talk before that's he's more than happy to stay playing and living in Leeds. I do honestly think he'll play out the rest or at least the majority of his career at Headingley and that's not just having blue & amber coloured glasses on as i couldn't and wouldn't make the same prediction on some of our other young talents, Hardaker, Watkins, Ward.
