| Calling all Rhinos fans for help!!!!!
With a little under 2 months until we take on the Dragons in there own back yard I was wondering who was planning on making the trip out to Perpignan and the best ways of getting down there!
I've not been before and searching on the web it doesn't look that simple or cheap to travel via trains, planes etc. I've got a couple of ideas but any further info would be a huge help.
1. Fly Leeds to Barcelona, book Catalan Tours Travel from Airport to Perpignan Centre/stadium return.
2. Fly to Perpignan direct from Birmingham/London but very expensive, then taxi or even walk to ground from airport!
3. Any coaches that might be leaving from Leeds either through the club or seperately???
All info however small will be useful and interesting so please feel free!!!

| Number 1 option is good.
Also check flights to Girona/Gerona (make sure its the Spanish one) and transfer via Catalan Sports, or why not just email Foti at Catalan Sports and ask him for his recommendations, he's very good and can't help being an Aussie so don't hold that against him.

| Last July 10 of us flew from Liverpool to Barcelona with Easy jet, we paid £90 return for the flights
We had 2 nights in Barcelona and 3 nights in Llorret before traveling up to perpignan on game day
We all loved Barcelona and will definitely have the 2 night stay there this season, but we weren't too keen on Llorret as it was rammed full of eastern Europeans, although the "H Top hotel" we stayed in was all inclusive and was also very cheap, We personally will try somewhere else this season
The one thing i would strongly advise if you do travel over there, is to use Catalan Sports Tours as they were fantastic with both the airport transfers and the game day travel, the cost was very reasonable too
The downside to stopping in Perpignan is the amount of spending money you will require, 7 Euros a pint around the town Centre is the norm

| Hi ,
As others have said , the best options are fly to Barcelona , have a day or two there and rent a car , about 2 - 3 hours drive to Perpignan .
Other good option is fly to Gerona , only an hour away by car . Gerona well worth a visit and can recommend Tossa de Mar, a , lovely spot . On the french side Collioure is a gem . Good hotels in Canet Plage and about 20 minute drive to stadium , a lively spot in Summer .
Have made a holiday out of it for last few years , good experience , good weather and very friendly people . Can`t recommend it enough .

| Hi,
Wanted to avoid Barcelona 'cause been before. Decided to go by train as live near Doncaster. No convenient flights to Perpignan without driving to Stansted and that means no drinking! So Early train from Doncaster then Eurostar to Paris then TGV to Perpignan
Same route must be possible from Leeds as it's on the East Coast Main line
Spoke to and emailed Catalan sports tours about a month ago but they were less than helpful, only interested for a large party.

| There's a bloke in Carcassone, real RL fan, travels to many Leeds home games etc. who runs a form of taxi service
Any way he is reliable, but Mclaren field will point out the pitfalls, if there are any.
PS - He's currently in Poland and I understand that although he's only been there a couple of days he has already made the trip worth his while.
