| Been trying to swap shifts all week for todays game but no bugger would with it being a Friday.
Having to work till 19:00 and I haven't driven from the City Centre before.
What's the best way to get to HQ without getting stuck on tons of Traffic?!
Any ideas.
Thanks

| You can't.
Heading out of Leeds centre you've got to hit traffic somewhere - it's inevitable.

| Cheers Middleton...I was looking at that route.
I wouldn't of thought it would be that busy anyway tonight (famous last words)

| wouldn't it be quicker under the dark arches, along Wellington st and then up to burley road. At 7.00 there shouldnt be too much traffic and an hour should be more than enough time to get to HQ. I'd park on Burley road up from the spar (?) and walk its only 5 mins to teh south stand and easy to get away thereafter

No worries.
Like Phil has said, Wellington Street is more direct but it depends on Traffic at the time.

| Potentially suicide inducing on a Friday.
IMO of course.

| I'd of followed the loop round by East Parade, right onto Great George Street, left onto Woodhouse lane. Get over the inner ring road and straight into the bus lane and I usually cut through Burley (where the 56 bus goes)

| Me and the old lad always stay in Leeds until 7pm for a few beers then get a taxi to the Oak for a quick one before kick off. We always manage in 20 mins by going North Street, Meanwood Road, Grove Lane, Otley Road.
Never seems to get busy this way. Otley Road coming from the city is a bugger. Sometimes its packed sometimes you sail through

| I drive that route every night from Bridgewater Place to LS16 between 5.30 and 6.30 but I'm buggered if I'm going to tell you the quickest way because then it wouldn't be the quickest way

I work on Wellington Street and traffic has been a nightmare lately because of that ridiculous bus lane thing that they're building on Kirkstall Road. I'd avoid it.

| Dark Arches....City sq....Quebec St.....East Parade....then left onto Westgate/Headrow.....Burley Rd. Park up on Burley Rd or one of the side streets and walk up.
No dramas....easy to get away after the match....and you don't upset the locals
