| Any one else see him elbow the defenceless bulls player in the face last night and only get penalised. should have been at least a yellow imo, i also tbhink he'll cop a ban.
This especially annoyed me after Sam moa of hull got sent off for a perfectly, or so I though shoulder charge a few games back.
At any rate I reckon bridge will get a ban and probably miss playing us next week

No I didn't see that.
I saw him get correcty penalised for a needless forearm drop onto the chest of Ben Jeffries though.
The disciplinary may see it differently but I hope not as Bridge is a complete loose cannon and I liked Leeds to be the beneficiary when he loses it and goes off on one.

| Someone on the VT has made what I think is a good point. If he had been sent off, then perhaps that would have been sufficient. As he wasn't, I suspect they might ping him with a one-match ban.

| the bulls should strictly speaking be the beneficiaries of his foul play not us a week later. hes making habit of this though so if he escapes a ban I wouldn't be surprised to see him giving away penalties or spending time on the sin bin next friday

| I agree, which is why I hate the on report system but that didnt even happen.
He does look likely to blow up with a bit of prompting. Cue Ryan Bailey

| Chris Bridge has always been an overly aggressive player. I wonder what might cause that? Perhaps it's natural aggression.
It was a cheap shot.

Thought he aimed at the head and missed. I think Jeffries managed to push back with his legs in time. Can't see him being available to play us.

Bridge certainly looks like he's picked up more "aggression" over the off-season. Would be interested to see the results of a comprehensive "aggression" test, if there is such a thing.

If there was, Phil Clark would be the one to analyse it.

That was my view of it, that he was aiming for the head and missed. On Twitter Mr Bridge claimed he was trying to "complete a tackle."
Funny I've never seen anyone try and complete a tackle with an elbow/forearm, a shoulder maybe, not an elbow
To be honest I've never really rated him as a player either

Nah, but I havent got an abacus handy to work out how long I've been watching our great sport.
On the other hand I only need one hand to count the number of years wire fans have been watching decent rugby.
What bridge did belongs in WWE not RL, to attack a man on the floor is cowardice, just ask radford.
As for how to finish a tackle, is what bridge did seen as normal technique by you?
