Giving fans the opportunity to own something they'd struggle to otherwise is a good thing from my point of view. If winners medals go up for auction then perhaps I'd think differently but not items like this.

Personally I'm not interested but once upon a time I might have been long before the days of E-Bay, when you had to hang around for RL Roadshows to bid on suchlike.

if you take the case of scott donald when he sold a load of gear last season, the important stuff he kept but he must have raised £1000 from the rest which added to the cost he saved in transporting it to oz seems like common sense

the players are issued with lots of kit free of charge and its a 1 season only deal so is unwearable after october, as long as the players dont take the pi$$ and demand loads more just to flog then theres nothing wrong with it
