Quote kirkstaller="kirkstaller"I can't find any bookies offering Lance Todd bets yet.
I'm tempted to put a couple of quid on Jamie Peacock. I think he could shine doing the hard yards in a losing Leeds team, and he's also well liked by the journos who pick the winner.
That said, a 'proper' forward (by that I mean excluding loose forwards) hasn't won the trophy since 1991 when Dennis Betts won it. Then again, that might give JP even better odds.'"
If Leeds do manage a win, it's likely to be Sinfield, McGuire, Burrow that gets MoM in my opinion. Or possibly Buderus. With I'd suggest Sinfield being the favourite of those.
If we win, it will be because one of those 4 has controlled the game, and kicked Tomkins out of it, and marshalled the Leeds attack into breaking the defence.
Whilst the Forwards will obviously have a massive role to play, IMO this game will be won by the backs (I'm counting Sinfield as a back even if he plays LF) thus the MoM choice will reflect this.
