i usually watch the programme,but missed the last one.Was that the one with Jon Wilikin on?.A few years ago now Leeds played at home a strange thing happened.The commentary team remarked on it.
A Leeds player kicked the ball into touch the ball was thrown back to form the scrum when the Leeds winger found he had another ball in his hand for some reason he ran on to touch down.I think the try stood thats when the commnetary team said thats one for A Question of sport.Who was the other team? & did the try actually stand can't see it meself.Can't remember who the braodcaster was.Thanks

That was actually Shaun Long when he was at Saints and i think the try did stand, no idea what year it was though

Didn't Jacko score against us for Hull with a quick scoot using a ball he had behind his back as we were getting set after the 'other' ball was kicked into touch from a penalty?

In what way could that 'try' as described have possibly been allowed to stand ..... unless the referee was Steve Ganson perhaps?

Once at Hilton Park (sometime in the 80's) I saw the ball rebound off the advertising hoardings behind the sticks and back into the in-goal area for a Leigh player to follow up and touch down to the incredulity of all who witnessed it. True story and I probably have the newspaper report to kind of prove it.
