| Hi guys n gals,
Wondering if anyone has any ideas on my predicament.
Going to lloret de mar on thursday 7th july before the rhinos game at catalans on sunday for a week. We booked this all seperate rather than a package as it saved us literally 100's of pounds. Im now after some info on the best way to get to catalan on the day of the game then back again, driving will be the last option but just wondering if anyone has made the trip from there before or if they know anyone getting there by coach or other means?
We have tried sports tours but they just seem to do packages and i have received no answer on the same question above from them?
Cheers in advance for any help peeps.

I'm going over to the game with 9 mates and we have booked the coach transfers through Catalans Sport Tours:
www.catalansporttours.com/viewpage.php?page_id=2
Basically speaking, they pick you up from the airport to Lloret, take you from Lloret to Perpignan each way on game day and then take you back to your departure airport for 56 Euros.

| Cheers mate but ive tried that avenue already we sent the details through for the fenals gardens hotel we staying in to be picked up from and just asked for match day transfers but this was weeks ago now and still had no answer, is there a minimum limit on numbers to pick up from individual hotels as we have not heard anything?

| Providing you can get inland to somewhere like Girona (there is a local bus service up for Lloret IIRC) ... You have two options :
- The internation two-per-day 'Talgo' trains direct from Girona to Perpignan.
The problem is that the evening train down from France will be long gone by the time the game has ended and you're faced with a night in Perpignan.
IIRC, the morning train from Spain to France leaves Girona at something like 09.50 and takes about 2 hours
- The Girona Airport to Perpignan coach by 'Frog Bus'
They seem to run a regular service to and from Perpignan to Girona Airport.
Used the train, not used Frog Bus ...

| CST would be my first choice but if all else fails then car hire in Lloret (just tell them where you are taking the car - its another country - just in case) would be second choice, its an easy drive and you'd have to be my wife to get lost en route.

Plus the Spanish roads are fantastic. Which is a bit embarrassing, given that we're supposed to be a World Super Power, and that they're supposed to be in deeper financial sh[ii[/it than us.

42170_1280565797.jpg Rule 1. I am always right.
Rule 2. If in any case I appear wrong, refer to rule 1.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42170.jpg |

Also given that they have no where as near as bad winters as us which is always going to batter the roads.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

No wonder given the limited hammer they get compared to ours - plus the warmer weather - that snow doesn't half make a mess of the roads!!

My choice would the the moorcroft group of companies.
The taxi driver always brings a cold beer to the airport for me and even has one himself

| ^ Yeah true.
Some times parking up at Brutus / Aime Giral is more like been at the Cross Green Car boot sale, with just a tiny and I mean tiny bit of French Flair
