My initial temptation is to laugh and take the p1ss out of Schofield but it really is quite sad that such a legend of the game, of Leeds and of my childhood is reduced to this.

I think everyone expected it at some point especially at Barrow.........but so soon !!
The chairman only gave them a warning last week about things needed to improve but
they have not had a game since then so I wonder what has caused this now ???

The Barrow chairman should be taking a long,hard look at himself really. He was the clown who described Schoey and Nigel Wright as the 'dream team'
As far as I'm aware Wright never even made it up there once !!

Schofield's piece on Boots 'N All was illuminating last Wednesday. Basically stating every team will now raise their game when they play Barrow (the old Leeds defence) and if the players don't wake up and raise their standards something will change.
Looks like he was right.
