We were outplayed, out enthused and out thought today. Well played to everyone in red. We only got on the scoreboard because Silverwood felt sorry for the superleague outfit. Get a grip it was a second string side with a few first teamers. Somebody is under estimating Fev, they are a good well drilled side, they we're always going to be tough opposition for the Rhinos 2nd team.

If that's your second team, best hope the first team keep fit, 'cos they were cack today

Leeds young lads were very poor being honest, Smith got completely outplayed by Smeaton they then moved him to stand off and he played abit better. Watkins looks average and Kirke and Burgess are plodders. I'm pretty shocked how average the young players at Leeds are. Leeds didn't play any rugby at all, just one pass and a drive all game they didn't look at all organised. I'm sure they'll go well once all their first teamers are back this season but there's no looking past Wigan, Saints and Warrington for me.

Nice one! so with 15 of our best 17 missing(16 if you don't count halls 5 minutes) in a pre season friendly you have seen enough to suggest that our kids are all crap and our season is over? Cheers for that

Yes it was a second string but there was at least 10 of that team with multiple game first team experience under its belt and it was a team picked expected to compete and give as good as what was given, maybe even win

Sadly it didnt compete (or wasnt allowed to) - first teamers or second string and that is the worrying thing if you are a Leeds fan, especially this close to the start of the season

Second string or not BMc was certainly put in his place by a coach who knows how to play "Free-flowing" rugby. Surely there should be a game plan whatever team we put out. There was no plan other than one up rugby and wait to be knocked back by the part-time lads of Fev.

Saw Fev many a time last season. Quality side. thought they'd struggle this season with no Briggs, but with DP, they have a quality coach.

theres nothing there to fall back on, no one who looks like they will step up to the plate should a first teamer get a long term injury, certainly not on that evidence and its not long till the start of the season
