Interesting game last night. Saints certainly got the tactics right for the wet conditions and had a good go forward game with quick PTBs. They must have dominated for 65 mins with double the number of PTBs in the Wires half, yet only managed 4 tries to 3 and one of those came with a large slice of luck attached.

Warrington lost Higham and Hicks just before KO and will not give up the ball as easily next time so although St Helens are now half way to the GF there still could be an upset.

We go to Wigan with nothing to lose. We are 2 games away from the final now and the worst that can happen is we will still be 2 games from the final if we lose.

Cunningham showed once again why they are going to miss him like mad next year. No one takes a game by the scruff of the neck quite like him.

Alternatively, you could argue that after 10 minutes that was all Warrington, during which they scored two tries off the back of penalties, one from a ridiculous decision to penalise Graham for being elbowed in the face Saints then dominated the next 65 minutes scoring 4 tries to Warrington's fluky 1 from a charge down. During that time Saints kicked 3 penalties in great field position and always knew they didn't really need to score, just maintain the territorial dominance.

Come on, if you are going to call the Wire try for being fluky, then you were also very luucky to get the Wellens one. Both were played for and got.

And FGB allowed himself to get wound up. He was daft.

Probably not but it's quite nice to be going there with no real expectation or pressure. Don't know how many tickets we've sold (should be bucketloads, probably won't be) but we should go and have a laugh and make a right f***ing racket. We've nothing to lose.

It would be four in a row, and as much as I'd like to continue making them our Grand Final Bitches, I just don't see it this year.

I'd rather not make the grand final at all, then make it and have saints beat us. I wan't us to keep that over them.
