| With only a few league games to go, who does everyone think has been Leeds' best player this season?
Personally, I think it has been McGuire. He has been consistent all season. Scored vital tries and a lot of tries! I haven't seen him miss many tackles either. His support play has been exceptional (although it always has to be fair!) and he has led the team well in the abscence of Sinfield/Burrow.
I think this has been his best season yet and deserves the accolade!
In the forwards I thought Bailey had a great start to the year, though he has been quiet recently. Leulaui has been consistently good with great yards and big hits.
When Eastwood has played he has been very good, though not enough game time really.
Peacock and Sinfield have both been excellent when they have played though both missed chunks through injury. Hopefully this injury to Peacock does not hamper the rest of his career!
Clarkson has certainly showed his potential! Great in defence and enthusiastic in attack. Signs of a future Ellis I think!
Buderus has shown class every time he has played and I think he is our best defender personally.
Any thoughts?...

| McGuire. Also have him down for MOS, but thats in his own hands over the next few weeks. If McGuire continues his form he will win the Lance Todd trophy which could definitely lead to MOS.

| McGuire
Peacock
Hall
Buderus (In that order)
Honourable mention for Clarkson who hasn't played quite enough games to be considered for player of the year IMO, but will walk the young player of the year.

| I'd definitely say McGuire. He seems to be a yard quicker this year than he has been for a good few years, which just goes to show how much injuries must have been hampering him in previous years. He has looked fitter than ever this year, and his virtual ever present record this year (from what I recall the only match he's not played in was the cup game v Blackpool?) is testimony to that. he has scored some big tries in some big games, and has created loads too. His 3rd try on Friday night directly from Senior's restart tap was sheer class - out and out pace in abundance, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him produce something like that on Saturday.
On the subject of fitness, whilst he hasn't been at his best this year, in a year when virtually every player has had an injury at some point for Keith Senior, at his age, to play in every game (I think??) is very noteworthy. Pound for pound the fittest player in super league??

| WITHOUT A DOUBT... McGUIRE. (The guy is the difference between us winning and losing with his seering ability of pace and evasion at the moment....never seen him more important to the team than what he is now)

| McGuire for me too. Brilliant all season and even stood out when we were struggling at the start of the season.
