... of Leeds has just been promoted today with an away win at Blackpool apparently.

They have pretty much smashed everyone this year in C1 and even beat Fax early on in the NRC. The only drubbing they received was against Leigh in the quarters of said comp.

Wonder if it will increase the crowds though. They have been very poor for such a "good" team.

I know their supporter and his mate still really hate us but I for one would like to see them do well.
Imagine what it would be like if the Hawks were the Hull KR of South Leeds?

They still love to moan about us at every available opportunity. TBF I stumbled on them accidentally today.

When we went to the Lazenby cup match earlier this year we did get a few mutterd grumbles and such aimed at us from there support. Ive caught the 56 back from Leeds on a night and there are 2 Hawks fans who live up East Leeds way who allways hand out the banter to us rhinos.

The number of so called Hunslet fans I come across. ' oh I'm Hunslet me, cant stand Leeds '

Or, I was at Wembley when Wigan only just beat us and our lovely ground at Parkside is the envy of both rugby league divisions.....

BTW, I remember when there was another ground in Leeds - Sat next to the Barley Mow pub..

Hence the blue plaque sign on the front of the pub. Cant believe when you look at old photos of Bramley and modern ones just how much the heart was ripped out of it in the name of progress.

There is and its called Bramley Buffaloes. They've won the Minor Premiership in their league for the 5th year in a row. It's just like watching the Wigan team from the 1980s and 1990s!
