| To finish 4th or 5th?
The obvious route is to finish 4th and then beat Wigan away. We would then have the week off before meeting Wigan (most likely) at home in the semi.
However if we lose to Wigan in in the Qualifying Play-Off the chances are we would play Hull at home in week 2 then Wigan away in the Semi.
To go from 5th we would play (again most likely) Crusaders at home then Warrington away the St Helens away in the semi.
So apart from the direct route do we prefer Wigan (a) twice + Hull (H) or Crus (h) + Warr (a) + St H (A) Not an easy choice.
On another subject - having been reminded last night of how injuries to key players could wreck a season, I would rest Danny M next week. He is so important to the side we want him fresh for Wembley and the playoffs.

| either way it'll be tough.
But if we finish 4th and win the first game theres no guarantee we'll be playing wigan again in the semi.
if we finish 4th we get 2 chances and potentially a home semi if we win our first game, so we have to aim to finish as high as can and thats 4th.

| I want us too finish as high in the league as possible, not doing so and saying it's better to finish lower would just be kidding ourselves.

| Aim for 4th imo we get 2 bites and that gives us scope for an "off night" or an unlucky one.

| The higher the better, no doubt about it. Wigan showed last night that they can be beaten & despite the Sky team (once again) telling us how awesome Wigan are I'd more worried at the prospect of having to beat Saints at KR

| Two fixtures to go and we need to deal with our own fixtures, thats controlable, especially as the last is HULL FC away.
Too many have said for weeks 'a long as we get in the playoffs thats all that counts'....to get far in the playoffs needs consistency and determination to be in place before we get there. We are showing it,we need to keep it sustained.
A bonus of a second bite of the cherry will be worth it with wembley on the agenda.

| When will sky let us know that we are playing Hull Saturday instead of Friday night? No Sky game Friday but 2 games broadcast back to back Saturday from 4pm
