If we can get 4th, I think we could do em in the 1st game. With so many crunch games coming up for us, we could potentially go into this game on the back of a CC win, momentum, battle hardened...form.

Wigan on the other hand, won't have played as many games, top spot all but secured, they really don't have much to play for over the next month. Not as much as leeds anyway. Wigan fans will cite things such as freshness, but considering the amount of games some of leeds big players have missed this season, that's not really going to be the issue is it?

For example do we think rob burrows going to be feeling jaded for the playoffs, after missing a 3rd of the season?

and then theres the fact leeds have won 3 titles on the trot. Do people really just expect us to roll over and let this record go without one hell of a fight? (watch us finish 5th and go out to crusaders 1st game now ive said that). I expect us to fight until the death.

Wigan will bottle it. Have done for last 10 years or so when it comes to the crunch.

That is not quite correct. The winner of the 5th vs 8th match will play the lowest placed loser from the 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd matches.

So if the teams finishing 3rd and 4th won we would play the team that finished 2nd. The only team we couldn't play is the team that finished 1st.

They've been superior to us in week in week out rugby but that's because we were very slow to start the season.

Since easter we have only lost 1 more game than wigan.

If I were in Wigans position right now I wouldn't be too concerned at a team who is in 5th place.
