| Nice report that.
Let's be honest though, the performance as a whole was mediocre at best (fused with bits of sheer brilliance). Saints with a halfback would have won that easily. They were there for the taking by 20 points plus, and we time and time again invited them into the lead. Must improve if we are to win the final, or have a real crack at the playoffs.
PS I love Jon Wilkin he's great.  |

It's the defence that still worries me - now 10 successive games when we have conceded 20 points or more. 5 tries each today, including 2 close to the line by Saints - they stopped Kylie in similar circumstances - we must get smarter in defence.

Completely agree we gave them cheap ball for every score thank fook we had enough in the tank to take the spoils. |

Agree. Would also add that Cunningham's and Graham's tries were helped by poor last tackle kicks (by Diskin and Sinfield respectively) that effectively gifted Saints 20 free metres from taps when we were controlling the game. We were attacking and should at least have made them bring it away from their own line, if not a repeat set or a try. It's as bad as giving a penalty away. |
