It would appear that Chev will not play again this year. After his awful broken leg at HQ lat year he is not expected to make a return this season due to infection. It will be a great shame if his career is ended when he was going so well. Chev is a good player who could have been a great player but for things being a bit different.

Very sad. Let's hope he gets it sorted and returns.

He's out of contract at the end of this season.

From a coaches point of view, it may be tricky to jusify keeping him on.

Especially considering the players like Finch they are trying to attract, so the cap may be a problem.

If he had played this year, it would have helped his case.

I enjoy watching Rhinos talent, whether in a Leeds shirt or not. So I hope he can continue his career in SL somewhere.

reckon him & Mathers will both be at Bradford next year, or Huddersfield.

I, like all of you, wish him all the best in his recovery. He had an indifferent start to his time at Rovers but was just starting to show us a glimpse of his form that he showed week in week out for Leeds.

I've not heard anything yet but Morgan has in the past given a chance to players returning from serious injury so if Chev's leg can get somewhere near to a full recovery, I think he may still have a chance over here at Craven Park.

He had another opp about 4 weeks ago due to infection in the bone pin area, normaly what they do is go back in clean it up pump you full of antibiotics, dont no how long he will be out, depends on how quick he heals, hope he gets well soon.
