I know Cup sales are always slack compared to league games but thats embarrassing considering it's all ticket.

Must be tough being a Wiganer these days, when all you have is memories and ticket sales to fall back on.

It wasn't even a dig, I've been here a long time on these forums and I've never been "a troll" so don't be giving me all that kind of cr*p. I'm just shocked that only 29% of your average attendance is bothering so far to get a ticket for what looks like being a huge game.

It's the quarter final of a competition that has slipped down the pecking order for fans to such an extent that the only way the governing body can get decent crowds for the early rounds is to make it free admission.

Leeds fans have gorged themselves on Grand Final successes, it's hard to find the appetite for snacks like this one when you're used to banquets at Old Trafford.

Only live club games on terrestrial TV and, regardless of apathy in earlier rounds, the Final still generates more press coverage for the sport than any other game.

We'd be crazy to ditch it.

Not from me, I've been a Leeds fan since the mid 70s so I can appreciate the good times even more having suffered through some pretty lean ones.

Maybe once upon a time Wigan at home in the Cup would have been enough to drag me out of the house. Sadly neither Wigan nor the Cup are as big a draw as they once were, so not this time.

Well thats silly then, I didnt buy a ticket due to lack of funds at the time, and now I have spent what I had thinking it would have sold out and I wouldnt be able to get a ticket

Wakefield the following week is a far more important game. Cant get excited about the MM cup any more since the advent of the GF, its nothing more thans a nice day out in london.

A run beyond this round would also interfere with the build up to the play offs and hopefully OT. Id like to see Leeds use the MM in the same way PL clubs use the League cup to blood youngsters.
