| After doing so well in the early games jayP seems out of favour has anybody any opinions. I know we like props on the bench and have quality at second row but with the lack of form can't quiet understand why he and others aren't getting game time.

| Maybe going for experience to get us through this little patch. Anyway I'd hardly say out of favour. If we diddnt have 9 out he wouldn't even have had a chance back then.

| At the moment we are still trying to find our form and get players back, although we have a good record of bringing in youngsters we don't need to do it every week.
I'd hope once we're in our swing, he'd be used semi regularly as part of the sqaud rotation we should be able to achieve with the size of squad we have

We went after Ferguson as well as Pitts i'm told but got the polite foxtrot oscar on the Ferguson offer.
If we don't retain Ali Fergusin may still yet be on the radar.
As for Pitts when i've seen him i've thought he's gone ok and the club had the faith to pay a fee so i'm sure he'll given time to earn a regular spot.

| I also heard from a wakey scource that the Rhinos tried for Dale Ferguson as well as well as Jay Pitts, he also said that the player didn't wish to move yet
Another Boxing day friendly should do the trick

Is that menat to be true - that we went for Johnny Lawless alongside Farrell & Sheridan rather than Lawford?

You don't see half backs like Lawford anymore.

They generally lay off the pies a bit more.
Mind you, he had his moment of glory with 2 tries against London (I think) one with a great step to go in from halfway.

There was Phil Adamson going to Saints instead of Matt.

Spot on.
It was against the Broncos at HQ.
The other try IIRC he bustled over from close range.
I think his main problem was the booze and being shy of knuckling down.
I remember when we played away at the Eagles in Super League 1 - he tore us to pieces (along with Sheridan).

| Given the form of JJB - it is hard to see how Pitts could perform worse!!!

| What's that film where Benson and Hegdes get called up for England because Ricky Tomlinson writes the team down on the back of a B&H box?
I think you are being overly harsh on JJB. He's been better than Kirke recently.
