Does anyone know if we still have the same group of full-time refs for next season. Someone please tell me Terry Albert has been demoted to some grass roots level. Anyone think Jamie Leahy or the other guy who did a lot of the NL TV games will be given more SL games?

I think that jamie leahy would be well worth being promoted to the super league list of referees,theres no chance of halibut being demoted tho'

I hope that's true! Will we see Thaler again? Didn't see him a lot towards the end of last season.

it was his 1st year up last year. Judge him on this season.

Lets just hope for consistency and improvement next season.

Lets just hope fans and coaches focus a little less on the referees shortcomings and more on their own teams shortcomings this season.

I know of no other sport where the supporters are so fixated wit hthe referees.

I know he's not a spectator but Ferguson again had a go yesterday at the ref over the added time at the end of the game. The ref allowed 5 minutes Ferguson as usual when his side is losing moaned that it wasn't enough.
He'd have been better concentrating on why his team failed to score in the preceding 90 minutes.
I hope he gets fined &/or banned again for his comments. But it's just water off a duck's back to him.

We should in that case.
