| Im struggling to get my head around this one.
Starting
13, Sinfield
Bench:
14, Diskin
15, Eastwood
16, Ali
17, ????
I think our starting pack is pretty much nailed on as how i have listed above, apart from Ablett. Ablett was a regular 2nd row starter last term and i think given the amount of game time he gets he could have a big season. So if we presume Ablett is starting at 2nd row.
Bluey has already said Eastwood along with Ali will be used off the bench for impact at the 20min mark. Diskin is a near on certainty to take a bench spot up. So that only leaves one bench spot for Burgess, Bailey, Pitts, Kirke and Amor.
I think Burgess is going to have a massive year, before the boxing day clash i said that, and after witnessing his motm display on boxing day im certain he will have huge year. Pitts is tipped for massive things and he will be pushing for first team action. Kirke is a 2 time SL winnner. Bailey is a 4 time SL winner. Amor has just picked up National League prop of the year.
How the hell can you choose between those 5? If you start to question Abletts spot you can make that 6! Pitts could easily find himself starting at 2nd row and Ablet dropping out if he works hard enough.
Bailey, Kirke and Ablett have had the luxury of regular SL rugby for the past 2 years i reckon these 3 are really going to have to pulls there socks up as 3 young talented lads are knocking on the door.
I would like to hear your thoughts on how do you think its going to shape up? How is Bluey going to keep this many talented young lads happy?
One thing is for sure we have one hell of a pack next season!

| thought this myself! ablett is one of those players who for me has been awesome. discribed as crap, average by other teams fans and a few of our own. i have argued how good ablett is to others and almost been laughed at. he is underated big time which is good for me. the bench spots as you point out are very hard to call. personally i feel leeds are a better team with one hooker and 4 big lads on the bench i would like to see ali, eastwood, burgess and kirke, but also think bailey deserves a chance and amor looks ready to do some damage, not to mention pitts.
for the record i find it crazy that my own idea of how the team should work consists of disco bringing on the water. its been a long road back after the 04 injury and did himself proud last season in tough situation.
good times ahead me thinks

| Gotcha has it spot on,the Coach has already stated his intention to rotate this year and put less onus on the likes of Kylie and JP.
As well as in terms of numbers there's a hell of a lot of versatillity within the squad aswell which can only bode well for us.

The only way to reduce Kylie's work rate would be to leave him out.
He brings a lot to the side but its' in very short bursts. If anyone needs a burden relieving its' certainly not Kylie.

I was having a similar sort of discussion the other day about how long can JP last doing the workload that he does?
Surely he's only got another couple of seasons left in him, getting battered every week like he does has to take it's toll.
That's the main reason Amor could turn out to be a very good signing, he's a similar sort of player and he means that JP can have a rest some weeks.

Careful, those kinds of assertions tend to get the JP fanboys up in arms pretty quickly.
IMO he's not been the same player for the last 12-18 months as he was in his first season at Leeds. It's a similar situation to the way Fielden has gone downhill after being asked to play 65-70 minutes every week.

I wasn't debating his usefulness, he's still far and away our best forward pretty much on a weekly basis. I was just wondering how much longer he can keep going like he does, he's getting on.

| Rotation?
Diskin, Ali, Eastwood and Burgess is the best bench in Super League.

RL is for men, not boys.
Rhinos and Thunder fan.: |
|
| I saw a few games last season in the CH and Armor was outstanding, especially for this age. I hope he gets some good game time this season as he has the potential to be one of the best young forwards in the SL.
To be fair thought with the Pack we have, even if a few players pick up injuries we have the quality to fill the position with equally good players. How many sides in the SL can say they don’t have that worry?

I'd say I sawa Amor play about 10 times last season both live and on TV and never saw him have a bad game. I reckon he's got a real big part to play in the squad this year.
