I have seen the game & just wanted to catch up on the thoughts of others.
FWIW I thought it was a fantastic defensive effort & that Saints never really threatened our line.
The difference between the teams was the quality of our bench, even without Ali.

You see, its' just that I have, in my possession DVD's on the game released by the club from previous Grand Finals so I wonder when these "super league restrictions" came into place or if you just made them up?

the official Super League DVD season review (which includes the grand final) comes out in next few weeks

I asked you for the wording on the back of the DVD you own that you have cited as your definitive source for your statement that there are "super league restrictions" in place.

I believe that there is a a two disc DVD coming out on Nov 9th that covers the season with the second disc covering the final itself.
I wondered if the club was bringing out it's own, obviously not.

there is a dvd of the SL season which comes out early decemberwhich also includes the whole GRAND FINAL .

The DVD's the club sells has highlights of the Grand Final only. They have a rider on it saying that they are only allowed to show 25 mins of the final due to Super League restrictions. This has been the case in all years as far as I remember so it is not new.

If you intend buying a copy ask if if is from the new batch. The first batch was diabolical quality and we are awaiting a replacement copy.
