| I would like Wigan, three reasons for this:
1, It would be a nice change - been there, beat them (twice) with Saints. And the Wigan fans will create a better atmosphere.
2, Wigan should be starting to get fatigued, they have already had 2 tough games and Saints will without a doubt take a lot out of them.
3, It would be priceless to see Sean Long bow out of St Helens with a defeat to Wigan!

| Saints. Simply because it'll be (more than likely) Nobby's send off and he will want to go out with a bang. Saying that i said the same about Anderson's last match in charge. Although i think Nobby has our number.

| After tonight, I think we know who the referee shouldn't be next week.

The easy decision for the RFL would be a Wigan win tomorrow.

| Quote: FoxyRhino "After tonight, I think we know who the referee shouldn't be next week.'" The most inept display of refereeing came in the 2nd half when Catalan knocked on the off-load to McGuire. McGuire recovered and Silverwood (correctly) called play on.
He then consulted his touch judge who said Scrum to Catalan. He then disagreed with his touch judge. Then he lost confidence and asked Bentham to help out.
He couldn't get through to Bentham so just decided to reverse his decision.
Inept.
Even if we have Saints in the final give me Ganson.

| On a fan level I want to be facing Wigan. On a logical level I want to be facing saints because it won’t look good if its Leeds v Saints three years in a row. If it is Leeds and saints again I recon it’ll be the best one thanks to a lot of unfinished business. But whoever we get I really don’t care as long as it’s a good game of rugby league.

Oh aye! There will be plenty of biff, guarantee you. I think it could be the most ferociously contested GF ever. Both set of forwards would have had a nice work out the week before so they'll really be getting stuck in.

| Saints for me.
I don't really see any difference in threat from either team, but I just couldn't bear the build up which would be entirely about Brian Noble - especially if, as we all suspect, it's hios last game at the pies. Yet another game where we don't exist - just turn up and happen to accidentaly win.
Having said that, if the Pies win tonight we do get to start the "chokers" threads a week early..
