23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| 1 match and 1 match for Graham for trying to con the official into doing something about it there and then. Didnt Eduardo get 2 matches for deceiving the referee?
Graham might have been hurt but the way he was rolling round for a few seconds trying to get something done and then just jumped up and spat his dummy when he realised Bentham wanted to continue the game was a disgrace.
If he was really hurt then I have full sympathy but to just jump up and throw a perfect defence splitting pass with his 'hurt' arm is a miracle of a recovery!

I don't think there is too much to worry about on that score is there? We've started to hit form just at the right time. Again.
It will be hard for the Saints fans to claim they are the best team if/when we win both the hubcap and the GF.

38511.jpg [b:3v5chy3z]Brian McDermott paraphrased Peter Fox.

Why change the subject. Graham milked the situation and came up empty.
I expect Jones-Buchanan to have a rest next week. Give Kirke some game time.

Milked the situation? Why be like that? His arm was almost removed from his shoulder, you could see on his face how much it hurt. It also affected him all game.
Why is it so hard to just accept that a couple of your players were out of order instead of trying to blame the Saints players for it?

Jones-Buchanan was trying to turtle Graham to slow the play the ball down, fairly standard stuff. It was a bad tackle (I've suggested he'll cop a ban for it) but I query the extent of Graham's injury and he appeared well enough once he realised he wasn't going to get anything from Bentham.
His beautifully timed and weighted pass to Gilmour shortly afterwards didn't appear to suggest 'his arm was almost removed from his shoulder' either.

No but if you watch it back, look how many times he was holding it and back from play a bit. He was struggling big time and has gone for scans on it today. It hurt.

I don't doubt that for a second.
rlThis is what Jones-Buchanan can expectrl (and St Helens fans will recognise the accused fairly well.)
