It has become tradition for many fans to congregate outside this pub prior to making their way up Wembley. No one buys beer in the pub, they get cans from the off licence nearby. I think the pub has finally reached the end of their tether as this year they employed bouncers to ask anyone drinking their own beer to leave the carpark.

Bearing this in mind we will be looking for a different drinking venue next year. There seemed to be a large gathering outside the hotel next to Wembley Park station. Does anyone know if this is worth a try?

The accepted and long standing practise to continue. We've been doing the same thing since the early 90's.

To my knowledge, most people have 'blacked' going in the place since the landlord back in the mid-90s decided to charge different (higher) rates to 'non-members' (eg Rugby fans) when buying a pint...

What a strange expectation, you're well within your right to refuse to pay his escalated prices in the same way that he is well within his rights to escalate his prices in a commercial market (how do you know that he does that ?).

What you're not entitled to do, as you will well know, is use his property to quaff your own supermarket booze, I can't believe that you're at all surprised, in fact I don't believe that you're surprised at all and I'm not sure why you started this thread.
