What angered me was the comments aimed at Mcguire yet he forgets (and doesnt raise) Tomkins act of thugery

There are actually some good and well reasoned responses on the Sky site, not at all the frothing-mouth stuff that I suspected would appear, good and well reasoned responses deserve an answer from the original poster.

You said Clarke implied he deserved the injury. He didnt.

Clarkes wrong is that no other player will give it a 2nd thought in the heat of the moment as to whether it pays to cheat or not. They'll just do whatever instinctively.

There's more to the incident than meets the eye anyway.

I think he did and still do he later goes onto state that Wigan will be spurred on by injustice.
The very fact he implies that the rugby gods have somehow made Maguire pay for his actions and could act as a lesson for other players says to me thinks some sort of justice was handed out.

Yes. Injustice that Mcguire cheated and it ultimately cost Wigan the real chance of a win.



The key word is perhaps.

I think he sees it as "Karma" or justice that Mags got injured to be honest mate and given his previous rants about Leeds especially after the 08 GF it points to that opinion.

Watkins could send you to sleep with his commentary though! Often it was hard enough to stay awake watching Scrumdown on ITV without him on as well!

Good point..He could review a try and take that long that two more could be scored before you get back to the action.Bloody hell that Alex Jones chest (the one show) gets bigger everyday ,far too much funpillows for her size!!!Anyway back to the subject..Hang Mr Clarke!!
