| Kallum is a quality player and I would hate for him to leave us but if it depends on the offer and will Gary Hethrington take it and will kal himself want to Try union aswell, plus eastmond is rumoured to be returning to league and also plays for bath so if rumour is true which I hope not this is probably why bath would look at Kal because he is top quality

| Top earners in SL won't be attracted to RU. Even more so now the marquee thing is coming into play. How many TOP SL players go to RU? Only Robinson (who won everything with Wigan anyway), Burgess (done SL & NRL. General freak player) and $BW.
Eastmond, Tomkins, Chev, Ashton etc were average at best. Vainikolo's body couldn't handle league. Did I miss anyone of any note?

Its not quite double due to the squad sizes. SL is 25 whereas most AP clubs have a 40 man squad.
So the average is £72,000 for SL compared to approx £117,500 for AP clubs.

For an average SL player that would be quite attractive. I think players like Watkins will be more than comfortable with what he is/will be earning at Rhinos. He's also got a young family. Would he uproot them for a pay packet that wouldn't make much difference to his current lifestyle?

Potential for big England RU pay scale if he went that direction, a few years a ago I read a England contract would add up to 100k onto your club salary, what that is now who knows. Regardless not 'ere to butt heads but just saying there is certainly an attraction if only financial for many leading SL players to go to RU

You missed out Andy Farrell, who despite moving (too) late in his career didn't make a bad fist of it & who's gone on to arguably bigger things within the English RU coaching set-up.
One of the unsung RL players who has made a go of it is Steven Myler but I don't think he played many senior RL games.

| Chev walker, lee smith etr etr should be a warning to any league player, no player has ever come back the same never mind better. Stay in league and become an all time great, something money can't buy.

Tomkins playing for England was one of the greatest low points since the Calcutta Cup game of 1984. But I guess that's what you get with a recently retired ex-Wigan RL forward coaching the England back division.

Andy Farrell coaching attacking structures, and Mike Ford coaching players how to defend.
World's gone mad.

But Mike Ford's Bath were probably the most exciting attacking side to watch in last season's RU premiership.

| Do players have interviews? Seems an odd thing? Also seems odd for Kallum to go for another meeting having effectively declined the original approach by signing a big deal with us.
Not to disparage the OP but feels like rehashed old news.

Funnily enough, that was my response "This did the rounds last year, then he signed a new deal" n the response I got was "I'm told that this was last week, not last year".
