Diskin def wasn't awful. Like I said to you earlier I wouldn't say Buderus had a bad match, but he wasn't stand out either.

It's a forum for opinions. Some are fekwitted, some are not. Why dont you contribute your opinion on this or should everyone just log on and read blank pages?

| It's good to express opinions, but some of the 'my dads better than yours' type argument is pretty pathetic. Just wondered if people realised how child like they sounded.
On the subject, buderus it can't be denied has been world class, an unsettled time so far has meant his impact on the whole is not would be expected. On limited viewing and hearing comments, I don't think his heart has been in it at Leeds. Diskin has been great for Leeds, reason for Leeds attacking shape improving against Catalan was off the back of some good go forward with diskin controlling the ruck. For the future Mcshane should be second choice to diskin next year, although I've little doubt buderus will show some class before his Leeds days are done.

I read up to page one and got no further. I thought Buderus played well. But I thought Diskin played better. regardless of who is the better player the team seems to be able to read Diskin far better than they can Buderus. We simply look a better unit with Diskin there.
Did nobody notice the new set move with the centre looping behind a forward dummy runner. Diskin executed this perfectly 3 times and the two times it was Senior it led to a try.

Agreed David (i've caught up on the rest of the pages).
I take some comfort that we are of the same opinion (as well as El Barbudo) and that I am in polar disagreement with other posters.

Is that the same move they did with Tansey that led to 2 if not 3 tries (or maybe even 4) for Briscoe?

I don't think so. It's hard to describe in type and I haven#t seen the footage yet but it was definitely a new move from Leeds. Diskin executed it perfectly with Senior twice and Delaney once and it really made great meters.
Been in London but I'll have another look at some highlights this week and try and be more articulate about it.

| Seen a lot of good teams grow old & or stale together, have also seen some overspend for short term gain then spend years in the wilderness, but I hope GH stays one step ahead, even if it does mean a new player to spice the midfield up. Most clubs change one of the halves over a 3 or 4 year cycle, whats at Leeds has worked for the last few year, just don't try to milk it as the comp gets stronger.

I like you. I think you talk a lot of sense.

| Sad thing was that when these teams became old & stale Leeds bought their players for inflated wages!! hence years in the wilderness. (cheers dougie)

I pretty much agree with that.

| Douggie made a lot of bad buys but I'm ever so grateful I got to watch Ellery Hanley regularly for a few years.
