Yep, Zak was immense at the back, deffo his best position for me.
I’d echo others statements, Salford were very good in parts and we did well to stick with them when they turned the screw. That being said, we look lightyears better both in attitude and application in those positions now.

A really flattering scoreline. Salford more than matched us for large parts of that game, they are a good side. The Handley interception changed the momentum of the game. Salford were well on top at that stage.
Agree regarding Hardaker for mom, he had no right to make that 2 on 1 tackle. He was outstanding on defence.

Was looking forward to that game and it didn't disappoint. A great start really set us up as Salford were the better side for the 20mins either side of half time. They moved the ball well but we stuck at it, something I'm not sure we'd have done earlier in the season. All in all a good win, when the pressure was on, against a really good Salford side.

Thought Salford played some really good stuff and would have beaten a lot of teams today. That they didn't speaks volumes about Leeds's resolve and application. A great game I thought.

Just got back home, Salford can only blame ourselves today, firstly Rowley's team selection on the bench was poor. We have two backs on the bench against a team with one recognised Prop Big Oledzki. The mind boggles from a Red Devils perspective - we did not get Leeds in a grind it was 100MPH Stuff or nothing - not good for Play offs.
Credit to Leeds starting well then dropped off a bit, we just did not have enough in the tank after losing Luckley to a HIA, thought Thaler was fair also, Leeds finished stronger, hope we get Dywer next year he was dangerous.
Good luck in the hunt for the play offs love visiting Headingley, awesome view from the new stand today.
BTW thanks to all the Leeds fans who have signed the petition to keep Salford at the AJ Bell past 2023, we're less than 50 to the 10,000 signatures.

A shame there isn't a quality outlet for Leeds fans along the lines of the Brian Bevan podcast. |

Good. Ran hard and with purpose and tackled well. Forget the marquee expectations, if he did that every week it would be fine until his contract runs out. I don't like having a pop at young players, but after a couple of good games Walters had an absolute stinker for the short time he was on the field. Smith promptly gave him the hook and he never returned. Sure he'll be better next time he gets a chance, but I would imagine he'll be dropped for KR. |

Hey guys just got back Salford prespective not worried about that one today "Rowleyball" just didn't come off it's not going to every week but when it does boy oh boy. Usually we go 6 down but today didn't start playing in the first 20 and were 18 down an uphill battle for anyone, we clawed our way back and just before the interception should have been 20 all couldn't see it from the far end but I'm sure Thaler had it covered. Anyhow to be not worried about Leeds or any other team is saying something from a team probably half a mill short of the cap with no marquee players moneywise, If I had the choice of one win today or next week against the snake from Salford i'd take beating them anyday,

Another good win. We're averaging over 28 points a game since Smith arrived, almost double the average before. We might not be able to really challenge this year but we're so much better to watch already.
