Quote G1="G1"very disingenuous IMO.
Bluey hopes other teams suffers with injuries means exactly the same as Bluey hopes other players get injuries.'"
no it doesnt, thats why they are two different sentences with different words and everything
one means to hope the abstract concept of a 'team' suffers in a sporting context
One is to believe that an horrendous injury to an individual fellow human being is the result of divine retribution.
Clarkes idiocy is the kind of nonsense you expect to hear somewhere like the Westboro Baptist Church, Bluey just poorly chose his words. There is no choice of words that would make Clarkes belief anymore palatable.
In fact, if you look up blueys quote you will find it actually says
"It's just the way it goes and we're not going to use injuries as an excuse for our position in the table.
It's part and parcel of the season and other clubs will go through this too hopefully"
It is clear that he is referring to the team dropping points because of injury, and that his hope is other teams drop points because of the injuries which are "part and parcel of the season" not that there are any injuries over and above what would be expected.
