It’s a bit ironic that I thought the pack, especially Mik and Tet did everything right today, but nothing else went to plan.

The effort from Leeming on their try was infuriating.

Hopefully that’s a bad performance out of the way before the playoffs, but with further injuries it’ll take such an improvement next week.

One thing we can take heart in is it wasn’t uncommon for the golden generation sides to out in poor performances jjst before the playoffs

They were, of course, capable of putting in the odd decent one once the playoffs were underway

They've got the perfect opportunity. They're probably good enough, it's that rare ability to be able to whistle up a good performance on demand...
That really would be a big step up. Never obvious which teams are going to nail it - until they do.
