In what way? other than Garbutt he has certainly been well ahead of our other prop options. Should we be concentrating on those players first?

| Galloway in the main has been solid for me. Hes done what has been asked of him. Good defender, makes his yards and get reasonably quick rucks for Burrow to scoot. Hopefully Segeyaro can make more use of this.

The more I read of Segeyaro the more I'm convinced he's here for a paycheck and will jump ship at the first available opportunity. I don't think we'll get anything like the Segeyaro we've seen in the NRL this past few years.

Now that would be a disaster, I suspect Brian Mac will resign at the end of the season. Also I think the main reason the club have not fired him ,is no other decent coaches seem available at the moment.

He had a pay check at Penrith, the only reason for him to come was that he wanted game time and wants to play

If he helps to get us out off our present situation that will be ok by me. He can then go back to Australia for next season.
You never know he may get to like life in gods own county.

| Right now SL survival is all that matters. If Segeyaro plays awesomely and helps us stay up but then goes back to the NRL I have no problem with that. Planning for next season ought to be well under way in any event.

But how can planning be "well under way"? The most important recruitment is for a quality hooker, is it not? (Along with a half back organiser probably). Segeyaro is contracted to the end of 2018 (I believe), so planning for a hooker must have totally stopped. However, one day before the start of the 2017 season, Segeyaro could up sticks & return to the NRL. How is that good planning?
Surely it would have been better to get Segeyaro on a 3 month contract (to help us out of the mire this season) & continue scouring SL & the NRL for a suitable long term solution? The contract negotiated is only good for one party it seems to me. We will have to hope that he falls in love with Leeds as a city & a club &/or that he doesn't play quite well enough for an NRL club to poach him.

He's here because no NRL club need him. He'll need to play out of his skin with us to get a gig in Oz again

| That's also true. I'm sure GH is hoping he does well and stays for the long term, but I do hope he has some kind of plan B as well.

| No hope of him staying if he is lodging with Delaney.
I don`t think anyone sharing with him has stayed that long
On a serious note I agree that the main objective is to stop us getting relegated.
Anything else he does is a bonus.
It`s a difficult one for GH as planning for the future is out of his hands to some extent.
We could get relegated so half if not most of the team wont be there next season.
We could stay up but Segeyaro decides he wants to go back home just before the season starts and all the decent players are taken.
Or we could stay up and Segeyaro stays with us so any plan B is dropped.
Not many plan B hookers will wait around for something to happen IMO.
Until we know we have survived the drop there`s little we can do anyway.

He's improved, but not enough to justify his place in the squad. I know we didn't expect him to replace Peacock, as that's a mammoth task, but he doesn't play like an ex-international veteran forward.
Case and point, following the debacle from Leeds/Thaler in an attempt to go for 1, Widnes end up with the ball in their own 20. Cue Galloway racing up (from an offside position) to clobber Ah Van around the head on the first tackle. Widnes kick to touch, play their set, drop the goal, and win the game.
We can't put it all on Galloway, but that bone headed play at a critical stage of the game is not something that a 30 something NRL calibre forward should be doing.

If there were four better front-rowers at the club, you might have a point.
There aren't though. He's certainly playing better than Cuthbertson at the moment or Mullally previously.

| Cuthbertson looks injured, I know he was never the most fluid mover, but he seriously looks waaaay off where he should be.
