This squad should be way too good for anything they will come across in the middle 8's - I expect them to save McDermott's blushes and win every game.

If they don't perform in the middle 8s virtually all of them they will still have a job on the same T&Cs - McDermott will not

There is no way we will fail to get in top 3 of the middle 8's. 3 wins out of last 4 and we thru the defeat to widnes away. Be hard against the pies but we will batter kr. Then the middle 8's we will beat the 4 championships side with ease. That is 8 points in the bag and pick 2 up from the 3 super league points which we will. Bring on 2017 then I say. So cmon people it's time to get behind the boys and hopefully we get a decent hb for next season and things will start to look sweet again.

Just got to hope now that we have nearly everyone back that they stay fit especially Segeyaro. No coincidence that the only game we did lose out of our last 4 was the one with no recognised hooker. Had Segryaro gotten here in time or we still had Falloon we probably would have won against Widnes (and still had a slight chance of overtaking Wakefield)

Leeds are too good to be in the middle 8s... But look where they are... oh yeah in the middle 8s. Dont get too cocky boys. Its not a foregone conclusion that the championship sides are going to roll over just cos your Leeds. You could be in for a couple of shocks at least.

We could have played Falloon against Widnes, he was simply overlooked. It is clear, even to a blind man, that our improved performances are when a recognised hooker is playing. Playing Segeyaro (or Falloon before his de-registration) allows the halves to play their recognised game. When we have played without a hooker everyone is being asked to play a different role. Surely we have to get Segeyaro to sign up for next season or else we will be back to square one.

Loving the Leigh fans. Couldn't see off a shambolic Hull KR and a patched together Wakefield side last year, but confident of knocking over a Leeds side coming back into some form.

As ever the Greeks had a word for it "hubris", it applies equally to Leigh fans as it does to Rhinos ones.

This Leigh side isn't - IMO - as good as the 2015 one. The SL sides heading into the Super 8s are - again, IMO - of a higher quality and in better form than the 2015 versions were.

That indicates to me that the chances of an upset are lower than they were in 2015.

I foresee a combination of cup final mentality in our opposition and our lack of leadership & non existant halfbacks being a massive problem in the middle 8's.
