When have the fixture schedulers ever used logic in any of the top sports in this country?

The first weeks fixture of us vs Wigan and Hull vs Salford....the 4 teams in cup action this week suggests they have that some thought, although could've landed like that due to pure dumb luck.

Only 500 tickets for away fans after the 18th too!

I wouldn't have thought we'd give away teams that many. I doubt Salford will bring 500. I guess this is the minimum we are allowed to allocate.

To say we fell to pieces because of the pressure of a knock out game is ridiculous.
Challenge cup QF is not a must win game. Pressure isn't what beat us, we were poor and got beat by a better side on the day.
Sure we'd have wanted to win it, I'm not disputing that but to say we lost because it was knockout rugby is laughable.

The way the home games have landed has worked out ok wrt to the South Stand demolition. The Salford match would obviously be the lowest attended so good job that's one of the post demolition games and the big boys of Wigan and Saints are before. Was thinking they would give us one of those two as the last South Stand games to make it as much of an occasion as possible and on Sky.

The only way Leeds can compete with Cas is if they wise up and play Tigers brand of "ever so slightly forward pass" Rugby League. As a defender it's hard to tackle an opposition player that is already past you before he receives the ball. Daryl Powell has pushed the boundaries and found just the right amount of leeway from referees, along with the Huddersfield coach. I'm expecting Huddersfield to apply for an American Footballs franchise next season.

the only thing we chucked at cas at headingley was the ball and that mostly went to the floor. the next 10 weeks are the real test now for everbody,everything else as been preliminaries.
