| Quote Jack Burton="Jack Burton"Phil Hay has confirmed Tyler Adams has a release clause of around 20m to 25m. I wouldn't be surprised if Brighton go for him when they get 100m from Chelsea for Caisado.'"
100 million for Caicedo is way over the top.
Good player but not worth that imo.

It isn't lower than what we paid. It's about the same.

| Any involvement Orta had a hand in along with our CEO and Chairman at the time stitched us up good and proper.
So far 117 million paid for players and 3 million brought in for the sale of Rodrigo.

| To be fair, they also had 50% to 60% relegation wage decreases in their contracts. So they probably had to put a loan/transfer clause in the player's favour as a compromise.
They've probably saved at least 60m off the wage bill even before the loans. Also, following the relegation, the chances of us recouping any money on some of these players is likely at their lowest, so loaning them gets their wages off the books, and also gives them chance to build up their values again.

| The club cannot afford to sell these players below what they paid for them and that is likely what would happen. £120m is a more realistic £80m. Getting the players off the payroll is a god send to the club. Of all the players that have gone which ones would you like to keep?

Fully agree and would like to hold on to Sinisterra, Adams and Gnonto.
But if we could get 20 million for Gnonto I wouldn`t grumble.
We still need to offload Firpo which is easier said than done.
Another who escapes any criticism is Kinnear who surely must have had a hand in transfers at some point.
