Some people actually watch games and comment on what is in front of them, without biase and agendas.
I said at half time Hall was magnificent. I also said when this thread was created he was playing poor, because he was.

From a guy who constantly gets asked "Did you actually watch the game?"
How did Turner do today BTW?

He wasn't though was he. His kick catching was a disappointment yes, and this led you and some others to all areas of his game harking back 4 years.

You talk nonsense. And are always found out.
Comment on the present, it's much easier.
By the way Turner was crap today. As I say, I comment on what actually happens, rather than what doesn't.

| Slightly O/T but Briscoe's positioning in attack at times is shocking. He overruns the play often and as a result the ball has gone behind him and out of play a number of times this season.
As for Hall, he's still the most complete winger in this country, and one of the best in the world. I'm not sure anyone could say otherwise to be honest

Ok then......
Quote: Gotcha "And I would agree with you if we were looking at one match in isolation, or even one month of games to be generous.
The difference is, look at every game over last four years. He consistently misses 33% of the tackles he attempts. That is the difference here, and it is overlooked because of his other qualities.
I am not saying to not overlook those other qualities, I am simply saying as a winger he is a poor defender and worse than others in the competition.'"
What's that about talking nonsense and always being found out?

To be fair to Turner, I thought all the Saints backs were shocking except for Lomax. If I were Nathan Brown, I'd move Lance back to full back and put Lomax to 6 to take some of the responsibility off Walsh.

| Got to say I thought Hall was brilliant today and certainly back to his best form for a long time. Maybe BJB might get in ahead of Briscoe next week.

Is this the one problem with McDermott's rotation, it's not allowing Briscoe to strike up a partnership / timing with Watkins?

Haven't they played 9 out of a possible 12 games together?

Perhaps, but they've played enough games for Leeds, and England, not to mention hours in training together so I'm not sure that excuse is valid anymore, I also though that when McGuire passed the ball into touch in the first half that he overran the play, but I haven't seen it again so could be wrong.

Briscoe was at fault on both occasions I think.....but I certainly would not drop him in favour of BJB.
The way our triumvirate back 3 bring the ball back into play is a hugely important part of getting Leeds onto the front foot.
Hall was a justifiable MOM today. Brilliant

Exactly, I'd say work needs to be done there but can we honestly say BJB wouldn't have overrun too?
Probably more a pet peeve I have but most wingers positioning in relation to their centre/the play I find frustrating.

| Irrespective of where Briscoe was, it was the wrong ball from McGuire to start with. Had no need to throw the big miss ball. One of a series of errors he started the game with.

Not even going to bother reading any further posts in this thread . Leeds 32-12 Saints is the only score that matters .
