Tonights Senior-Wilkin spat was I suspect an ongoing thing from the England World Cup camp, as another poster said it was far from a harmonious camp despite what Tony Smith might say.
Wilkin IMO should be nowhere near an England team any way.
I'm damned sure Keith would not react like that just because some pretty-boy,would-be journalist grabbed his shirt !

While ive had a bit of a laugh on the saints site over James Graham, in all seriousness I was very uncomfortable with that "Tackle" Webb was completely off the ground so the whole weight of his body would have been on Eastmonds neck..... and its been totally overshadowed by the pantomime stuff....

I'd hope Webb gets a ban for that because he knew what he was doing.

It doesn't matter a jot whether an incident is put on report or not really. All three will be looked at by the video review panel on Monday morning regardless and probably all referred.

Incidents in every match can be put on report. So if there's a possibility of serious foulplay during any of the games the referee can put the incidents on report so the disciplinary can look further at it.

The live games probably need the On Report system the least, because the vast majority of the incidents will be picked up by the cameras anyway.

I met James last week on my way to Amsterdam and he was a nice bloke. He was out of order tonight though, alright he has never got on with Bailey since they were in the acadamies together, but still, no excuse to have a shake of hands and congratulate us on our win. He should've been adult about it and accepted defeat how ever it came about!

You have to earn respect, Leeds were shameful tonight.

The whole 'on report' system has been somewhat overtaken by the coverage of the modern game.

Placing an incident on report though will ensure it is looked at so still just about has a part to play in the game.

The video review panel appear to sweep up most of the rest.

The Saints pack of Haggerty, Fieldhouse, Arkwright, Round, Forber, Liptrot would have twwated any Leeds pack of the present generation. The chicken wing tactics tonight were pathetic. A blight in the game in general.

Bring back the good old biff if we want to go down that 'physical' route.

I'm sorry to have to break this to you, but they weren't. When you've seen the Widnes pack of the 80's all this c**p comes into perspective. Leeds put themselves about a bit and came away with the 2 points. The ref didn't miss much (apart from sin binning Lee Gilmour for punching Sean Long

), and we still won the penalty count. The game as an entertainment spectacle, is damaged more by messing about at the play the ball, not square markers and persistant offside. And clear winners in that department today were Stains.

Everyone knows this game has edge, everyone knows both camps have and will continue to have history and personal issues.
Thats why i decided to watch it tonight on Sky rather than tune into BBC Humberside.

But what i cant understand or even begin to accept are chicken wing tackles or hair pulling!
These guys are professionals and KNOW what they are doing!

JJB (or any other player!) should never deliberately try to injure a player in an illegal way. If an injury occurs due to a bone crunching tackle, then so be it, as long as its legal and well intentioned (for the most part) then thats part and parcel of RL. Wrenching a players arm into an unnatural position whilst he's prone on the floor is simply cowardly and should carry a 6 match ban along with 6 matches wages fine.

As for hair pulling - youre kidding me!
16st + guys resorting to the actions of a schoolgirl in a playground.
Thats up there with eye gouging. Cowardly and ultimately the actions of a very very pathetic person.

It doesnt matter if the player is young, old, black, white, dreadlocked, shaven, hated or loved - its above the shoulder, therefore its OUT OF THE EQUATION.

And to the poster who suggested the tackler was going for collar - well i can pretty much assure you that polyester/cotton feels very different to human hair!

Senior got yellowed for how good his slap was rather than what had happened. Graham was doing a Maurie faking an injury, should have been a Leeds penalty.

Leeds won against a very opposed video ref and ref. It's time the refs gave leeds some 30/70 calls.
