I can't remember ever leaving early.
I take the view that there's still rugby to watch whteher your team is winning or losing.

Plus, games like the CC semi against Saints a few years back and the recent win against Wakefield are examples of where leaving early would have meant missing an unexpected turnround.

However, if people want to leave, that's their prerogative.
You pays your money, you takes your choice.

I am talking to someone who is endeavouring to belittle other posters on the basis of some perceived barometer of loyalty. Said person being someone who missed a major final that his team were participating in for a music concert.

Had you responded with "yeah, I have a life and a music concert was more important than a rugby match" I'd have been impressed. That your response infers you've learned the error of your ways and Rugby is now more important than anything else confirms your original efforts to act superior and confirms that you're not really very "cool" or whatever the kids are saying these days.

G1 I asked a question as to why people leave early, now im not sure why but this appears to have touched a nerve with some people. Now if people choose to leave before the end then thats their choice, however you can ask why now wait a few minutes till the end to see the team finish the game?

I don't go very much anymore due to working Friday and Saturday night to fund my three years of University (without finishing in any debt). I now get called a part timer, but my reponse to that would be that I congratulate the ones (you know who you are) who are in their mid 20's and have dead end jobs and no amibition in life yet least you still go to every game and bleat about it on a mesegeboard. The most disturbing thing to come out of this thread is that G1 has basically admitted that he is not 'down with the kids anymore.

I no longer wish to be down with the kids (that I aver wanted to be down on the kids was never proven Mr Diablo).
