I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned Josh Hodgson but i would have liked him as my first choice
Didn't we also supposedly make an offer for McIllorum?
Or was that GH at his best and making sure that Wigan gave him an upgraded contract?

Probably just McIloruma's agent spreading the rumour to get his guy a new upgraded contract. If you were an agent and had a hooker on your books, why wouldn't you get the rumour out their in the last few months that Leeds had expressed an interest?

Great work by his agent then as Personally i don't see McIllorum as anything other than an aggressive player.......and that's about all I'm afraid

| I'd be more than happy if we signed Mad Micky if he fitted into the squad.
Fearless and a warrior almost like peacock and more than adequate distribution skills.
Looks more like an import for hooker and to be honest most NRL hookers should be able to provide what we need. Solid defence and the ability to get us moving forward. The rest of the squad should be able to work just fine from the back of that. Would rather have a superstar stand off than hooker.

McIllorums distribution skills are e so I'm not sure what he would bring to us TBH as a starting 9

| Forget signing a hooker, just get Leuluai to do another year, as apparently he "often stepped into dummy half"

| Have to be character questions against Falloon and whether he fits into the kind of ethic Leeds have worked so hard to develop. Also, if he can't find a coded way of doing coke deals by phone he's clearly not the brightest either.
I'd rather go with Buttriss.

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if Falloon signed. GH is very good at keeping things under wraps. It could be someone totally from left field

I thought he got off because he could find a coded way?
Anyway, he's a better player than Buttriss in my opinion but neither of them are that great.

| It's a stopgap signing anyway till Daryl Clark is OOC, that's what I've been told. Although a lot can change in 3 seasons!
Plus Aiton was no stand out before we signed him.

| That's my concern with Falloon (as well as wondering why we'd want such an average player). The police - thanks to Karmichael Hunt - identified a bunch of Titans players buying drugs. The thickest of them didn't even think to code their texts. The brighter ones did. Those that didn't code their texts have been charged. Those that did haven't because the prosecution couldn't prove that the codes used related to drugs. I'm not at all sure I'd want any player associated with that group at Leeds.
As for Buttriss, he's even less than average. But I suppose if we're after someone short-term he'd be better than Falloon.

| Here's one for ya Bris! Both NQC hookers are off contract for 2016. With reduced interchange I would try and get either now as I can't see them both getting good deals. Kostjasyn would be most realistic as Granville IMO is their first pick 9 but both are better than any of the Aussie lads we've been linked with so far.
