Well it won't surprise anyone to learn that I'm not going either, even though I love Edinburgh and would go on a visit there even without an excuse.

I will be going to Edinburgh in August this year for the festival though, the difference being that during that period the city fills with people who don't see the weekend as an opportunity to get drunk.

Its a personal choice.

Not me I'll be travelling back from Gloucestershire after watching my daughter competing in the British Team Gymnastics Final

im going sun am, staying over night, with 3 others...most people i know are in north stand lower tier.

At just about the time they started sticking fruit in the top of beer bottles ... They're getting sneaky in their ways to get your five-a-day these days and vigilence must be maintained at all times !

........and I have reached the same conclusions for the same reasons, oh and the matches on offer are about as exciting as a wet fart.

Train up at 9am on Sunday morning and back at 8pm on Sunday evening ...

Should be there by late morning and in time for the first three games, then back to the station for the last train back to Yorkshire.

I'm interested to know how you can predict whether a match is going to be exciting or not a week in advance

Us vs Catalans. Well, luckily for us Catalan travel about as well as an agoraphobic so they might come down to our current level, provide for an even game. Still, games between us and Catalan in the UK have always been barn-burners haven't they?

Agreed. And have to say the last one you mentioned Warrington v Hull KR, will be the only one for me that will give entertainment.

Both teams are playing good rugby at the moment. Both look good with ball in hand. Interesting to watch how the defences addapt to good attacking rugby.

The Lost Loiners will be there playing in the Tag Games before the show starts (12.30 KO). Why not come along to the playing fields adjacent to Murrayfield for some good old fashioned Rugby League Gold!
