| It's interesting to see so many still thinking Wigan will hit top2/3 without Leuleui and Finch who imo they have down-graded at least 2 levels with Smith and Green!
Saying that 2 new HB's still to gel with each other and the 9 i dont think Wigan will be as fluent or as strong as last year.

| Rhinoms-have to agree. If you look at strongest sides compared to last year, Wigan are:
2012:
Tomkins, Charnley, Goulding, Carmont, Richards, Finch, Leuluai, Mossop, McIlorum, Lima, Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin
R: Smith, Lauaki, Prescott, Farrell
2013:
Tomkins S, Charnley, Goulding, Thornley, Richards, Green, Smith, Mossop, McIlorum, Taylor, Hansen, Lauaki, O'Loughlin
R: Tomkins L, Prescott, Flower, Farrell
7 changes in the best X7 to last year, and have lost 5 of their big-hitters, with only one (Lima) being replaced with anywhere near the same quality.
Top three will be Wire, Leeds & Saints, with Wigan fighting it out with Hull FC & Catalans for the dreaded 4th spot.

That sounds pretty definite except it's not what you were saying prior to christmas - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=540817&start=9
what's changed at Wigan apart from a potential loose cannon bad influence being removed from the dressing room ?

Could see St Helens and Wire being either way round in the top 2 but I think Saints may finish top. Wigan 3rd as for me they are not as strong as last year. Can't see Cas getting in the 8.

Certainly hope so. I look forward to watching a different team try to win a GF from fifth place. Only right that someone else should get a crack, given the advantage it confers.

| Realistically Leeds have struggled for consistancy over the regular rounds the last three seasons and I fell it could be so this year as well. I think a few clubs will also be desperate to bury us this year - Hull tonight will be one.
We'll still win it from 7th though.

| Based on the mode values the following is the composite view of those who have posted.
Interestingly (?) nobody posted this nactual prediction, but one poster differed in only 2 positions.
1. Wolves
2. Saints
3. Rhinos
4. Wigan
5. Hull
6. Dragons
7. Giants
8. Wakefield
9. Bulls
10.HullKR
11.Broncos
12.Widnes
13,Cas
14.Salford.
The most popular choice was for Salford to come last, followed by the Wolves to finish top.

| i have just had a look back through what we all thought would be the final regular seasons finishing positions and this one stood out
Quote ="Jonesy's a Legend"
brian noble has predicted his final league table in this months 40/20 mag and it is as follows-
14: salford'"
i guess that nobby thought that salford's squad was that 5hite that they were certain to finish last,i wonder what could have tempted him over to coach that rabble?

| Anyone who didn't predict as a bare minimum 7 out of the 8 qualifiers for the play-off's needs to have a word with themselves.
Predicting 8 out of 8 would be nothing more than a par performance IMO.

| as regular super league season has come to it's conclusion i thought i would bring this topic back out so that everyone could see how well their predictions went.
the giants were obviously the big over achievers in most posters predictions
i'm not sure if tvoc will again undertake the official scoring to see who the eventual winner is
1: Huddersfield Giants
2: Warrington Wolves
3: Leeds Rhinos
4: Wigan Warriors
5: St. Helens
6: Hull FC
7: Catalan Dragons
8: Hull Kingston Rovers
9: Bradford Bulls
10: Widnes Vikings
11: Wakefield Wildcats
12: Castleford Tigers
13: London Broncos
