It’s a poor reflection of both Leeds and the game in the UK in general that the best we can put forward for these games are Sutcliffe and Handley, and that they are considered to be the best replacements.

If it was on ability & form then Michael Shenton should be in before any but Percival. I'm all for giving youth a chance but have grave doubts that Sutcliffe & Handley will ever resemble international centres.

Ollie Gildart is the best young centre in the game, only just turned 22 years of age.

Forgot about him. Great footwork but too small at this stage. Better than the Leeds pair granted.

Even the most ardent Loiner/Rhinos fan couldnt make a genuine case for our 2 to get a call up imo.

Sutcliffe deserves a rocket up his backside not an England cap. He has the ability but doesn't produce enough for me.

I do think he needs picking in 1 position & staying there but agree completely he's one of many who could do with a player like JP ripping em a new one before during & after games.

Re Sutcliffe does this mean he gets a salary increase having been picked for England?
I`m sure I read or maybe dreamt that when players get selected for their country they go up a notch on the salary scale.

Ratboy gets 1 match ban, then allowed to miss the England game, for which he was not called up for anyway.
