Actually we've beaten both Warrington and Hull now in the last 3 weeks.
If you can't beat the omnishambles of Catalans I think you're screwed.
Thanks for Parcell by the way, you'll quickly find Lunt is crocked and Lui is ordinary without Hastings.

| Parcell will probably go much better for KR than us. Not sure why that would surprise anyone, and it would be bonkers to assume that if we hadn't let him go he'd suddenly become a match-winner for us after two years of doing nothing much. Its all about the way the team plays - our lack of forward domination means we don't get him the quick PTBs that he thrives on. Lunt may work better for us than KR for exactly the opposite reason - we need a hooker who can manage sets and just pass well on the back of often slow PTBs. Lunt probably doesn't have the legs any more (if he ever really did) to take advantage of quick PTBs so wouldn't be able to take advantage of them as well as Parcell.
Tony Smith I agree with - I thought we should have gone for him from day 1. I'd also add that the club could have acted faster to make transfers - I'd bet Furner was pushing for changes before he left, and its taken another 6 league games (of which we've won just 2) to actually make a change.

And so did you. Our loss to them was a lot narrower than yours and was a lot closer than when they've recently beaten Saints as well. Your point is?
Catalans are in a complete mess just at the moment and are off their game hence my comment earlier.
If you lose and London beat Cas then all bets are off in the relegation battle. The game at your place in a couple of weeks is looking tasty.

And if we win by a decent margin and Huddersfield lose by a decent margin then we’ll be 2 places above you
You have had a couple of good wins recently but I honestly wouldn’t be getting too giddy just yet, you’re still right in the brown stuff just like us
Oh and we lost to London by 2 points I’m not sure how you losing to them by 2 points was a lot narrower

Fair enough, however we have beaten Warrington and Hull in the last 3 games. Our firm is on the turn upwards.
Who have Leeds beaten recently?

| Thought Parcell was good last night - agree with Brissers.
KR are similar to us in that they have some weak spots, maybe not as much talent but better balanced and play better as a team (Neary all other sides have been playing better as a team than us).
Key is how effectively we use the salary and quota spot freed up with recent moves - this has never been about Parcell and Lunt swapping, Dwyer has been starting for us anyway.

| To be fair I don't think anyone can be surprised that Parcell's had an immediate impact. It was always going to be a hugely risky move to let him go to our immediate relegation competition at this point of the season. We all know he can be quick and dynamic and while he's not been setting the world alight for us this year he was always going to have an impact going into a new team. Don't think it's the last time he's going to turn in the goods for KR before the season's out. Remains to be seen whether the gamble will pay off. I've seen a lot of positive moves from the management this last week or so under incredibly difficult circumstances so trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they know what they're doing and hope that the gamble pays off for them. Can see Tui suddenly starting to look half decent for Salford now as well but the stakes are far higher with Parcell with him going to KR. It's proper squeaky bum time isn't it…

| But the most relevant point surely is the role of Mags in Parcells performance - he needs someone of that quality to be able to perform to this standard, as 2017 showed. That's great for HKR for the rest of this season, but I'll be interested to see how he gels with Mags replacement, whoever that may be. If it doesn't work out I suspect they'll see the Parcell we've seen this year and last - largely disinterested and ineffectual.

| From what I can glean, Parcell spits his dummy a bit if he doesn't get what he wants, and he frankly isn't all that as a hooker. Good player yes, but there's a reason he's not in the NRL.
I was watching Mags last night and he really was pushing them around the park and taking good options more often than not. He's just a class all-round sportsman.
KR are one of 5 clubs in the drop zone currently, if we can't get over London at least I'll take relegation on the chin. Parcell aside: if London with an average gate of 1,500 or whatever, no marquees and Ward as relatively new coach can beat Leeds over 29 rounds then fair play.

Hope you’re not joking. Walker is the weakest FB in the league. Quinlan before being injured last year was second to Barba in the league.

| Walker has had a couple of shockers this year (the first Wigan game comes to mind).
In an ideal world, he comes into a solid and high quality side which can support him better while he learns.
Big fan of his as a player, has some x-factor which is rare in this side.

Go on then, make your case for Walker.
Simple mine. Error prone, offers nothing in attack with the play constantly breaking down when he gets the ball. Poor when called upon to be last line of defence. Name a fb he is currently better than in SL. Harsh but so true.

I too think Parcell is top quality and only kept out by an exceptional hooker in Dwyer for and I have said it for last 2 seasons I would have had Parcell in at half instead of Myler and would have given Dwyer Hooking shirt.
Like it of not Myler has been a consistent weak link ever since he joined

He’s no more error prone than a lot of fullbacks, full back is a postion where errors are more pronounced
Saying he offers nothing in attack is ridiculous hes the second highest of our team for tackle busts for a start
He imo is currently better than
Shaul
Hampshire
Macintosh
Evalds
And a few others
And he is still only 19

| I can understand all the reasons why you got rid of Parcell, a lot of it makes sense, the baffling thing is why you let him come to us? We have been a hooker short of being a half decent side all year and if I was the Leeds hierarchy I'd have not help strengthen us at any cost

Maybe your the only team that wanted him and could offer us a replacement in return, we’ll wait and see but Lunt could be a better fit for us at this moment in time

I think they were more keen to get rid, than what they got in return. That element was just an opportunity that arose as a result. Parcell was much better for us than Dwyer, and a far better player, but that doesn't change the fact that for the club he had to go, and from a business persepctive going forward they had to take the opportunity to do that. Hull KR will still be down there, whether he was there or not.
