| Danny to get off with a no case to answer, first contact shoulder
then knocking out Tomkins on Wigans first set of 6 with a blatant high shot missed by all the refs and touch judges
Ripping the ball over the line in a two on one ball steal and scoring from it to even up the game with two mins to go. From the kick off he scoot from Dummy half on the 2nd and gets you to the half way line, a shocking pass on the 4th that takes you back just behind the half way line and he then on the 5th drops a Joe Lydonesque dropgoal to win the match.

Ha ha, quality!
I would absolutely love it (Kevin Keegan style) if that happened. Would equally love it if both blue & yellows put both red & whites to sleep. See you at Old Trafford!
Think you've a better chance than us though

| I love the way on these forums (and i mean ALL of them not just this one) that if one of your own commits a foul it's 'accidental', 'poorly timed', 'not in his character' etc but as soon as an opponent does the same it's a 'pre-meditated assault'.
McClorrum deserved his 3 matches, it probably would have been 4 had he not been sent off in the first half. Maguire wasn't late like McClorrum's and Anderson was going down which has to be taken into account. However it was a dangerous swinging arm which made full contact with the head, deliberate or not (and only Maguire can tell you whetehr it was) Maguire has to take responsibilty for it. He will probably get 1 match which is about right although 2 wouldn't suprise me as he does has previous this season.

| Shaun Wane has come out and stated that that Danny's was worse than what McClorrum did.

A not too thinly disguised attempt to influence the disciplinary.....they're really worried aren't they ?
If Leeds miss out I really do hope Saints hammer the team in the final.

| Danny's is worth 1 game ban really, but I can see why it could be justified to only go with a fine. Danny has to go hard in tackles or he will be steamrollered like he often was in early days. Swinging arms aimed at the ball are a big part of today's attacking defense, with the hope being that the ball will come loose and every player tries it. Danny got it very wrong as he didn't expect Anderson's head to be at that height. Potentially dangerous and a bit careless.
For it to be compared to McIllorum's late, high, swinging shot is ludicrous.

Perhaps it was a reaction to McDermott's not too thinly disguised attempt to influence the disciplinary during his interview on Club Call?

McDermott was speaking about his own player much the same as Wane had plenty to say about Mcilorum before his visit to the rfl.

Full agreement Gotcha (I'm heading for a lie down).
2 big differences between the 2, intention and track record.
A cheap ploy from Wane.

That's generally what all coaches do.
rlThey also have a lot to say about other teams players when the occasion demands itrl.

| I was impressed with the Sky commentary at the time. Lot's of reference made to the McIllorum incident and infering that this was just as bad if not worse. What planet do these professional experts come from?

| All the bleating from Wigan seems to be a sign of fear. They have a lot to lose on Friday, and need the balance tipped towards them to mkae them feel more comfortable.
Leeds will smell blood, and I think with or without McGuire we are strong enough to win
