I think Wigan have done enough crying about it that i think McGuire will get a ban. If he does then, whilst a big loss on the pitch, could hopefully add that extra fire for the rest of the lads after they've too probably heard the screams coming over the pennines trying to sway the decision of the panel. Whilst Wane and his team will be feeling quite happy and content with themselves about the outcome.

How long does it take to change your name by deed poll ? If Danny Mags can rush through a quick change to the name of Paul Wood by lunchtime tomorrow the judiciary may take a whole new view of the situation.

I didn't realise Ward could play in the halves. Is that his preferred role? Always had him down as a loose forward. An exciting player that's for sure.
